RPS Consulting Services is a diverse professional Safety and Environmental List-X accredited consultancy, trading since 1988 providing functional safety, health and safety and environmental advice and assistance throughout a selection of Land, Sea, nuclear, Air procurement and Logistic Support programmes of the MOD and their associated Supply Chain operating within the defence industry.
Experienced personnel at RPS provide a variety of cost effective and efficient Safety and Environmental assurance services to the MOD and Defence Supply Chain organisations. This typically includes the production or review of Safety and Environmental Case documentation sets, produced in accordance with Defence Standard 00-056, DSA01.1, Joint Service Publications 454 (Land) & 520 (Munitions), DSA02 (Maritime) and MRPs (Air) in line with the requirements of the Acquisition Safety and Environmental System’s (ASESMS) Project Oriented Safety Management System (POSMS) and Project Oriented Environmental Management System (POEMS) methodologies.
RPS is currently providing safety and environmental assurance and support to a wide number of defence projects. Examples of these include: C130 and C17 aircraft; Armoured Vehicles Programme (AVP) and the Artillery Systems (Arty Sys) Team; and Maritime Combat Systems (MCS) and Marine Platforms Systems (MPS).
